Mindfulness:
Most simply put is being present in this moment.
Not thinking of the future or the past but experiencing the most of this very moment.
As a child we are very much in the moment; if I asked you to recall a childhood memory you will most likely have many and have so many details of that memory. However as an adult we have a harder time with this and often can’t remember what we ate for lunch the day before or drove to work and don’t remember the drive at all.
Mindfulness meditation allows us to be present, experience the now; feel our breath, feelings and take in our surroundings.
Learn how to meditate with the KORU Mindfulness program.
A 4 week program that meets 1 day per week for 4 weeks. In the four weeks you learn several different forms of meditation, like walking meditation, breathing, thought labeling, loving-kindness, eating and more. Opportunities to connect with others and ask questions as you begin your own practice of meditation for 10 minutes per day.

Meditation is not just sitting quietly and trying not to think.
